We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans (Pro and Business). If you're not satisfied with Promptrix for any reason within the first 7 days of your subscription, we'll provide a full refund—no questions asked.

How to Request a Refund

Requesting a refund is simple and straightforward:

  2. Include your account email and subscription details
  3. Let us know you'd like a refund (optional: tell us why, but not required)
  4. We'll process your refund within 5-7 business days

Note: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the subscription.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your Promptrix subscription at any time—there are no long-term contracts or commitments.

How Cancellations Work

  • Cancel your monthly subscription anytime
  • You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period
  • No automatic renewals after cancellation
  • You can re-subscribe at any time

How to Cancel

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Account Settings: Log in to your account → Account → Cancel Subscription
  2. Email Support: Contact us at support@promptrix.co

Your cancellation request will be processed within 1-2 business days. You'll retain full access until the end of your current billing period.

Plan Downgrades

You can downgrade your plan at any time:

  • Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle
  • You'll retain access to your current plan's features until the billing cycle ends
  • No refund for the current billing period when downgrading
  • Price difference will be reflected in your next invoice

What Happens to Your Data

We respect your data and provide clear guidelines:

  • During cancellation period: Full access to all your data and optimizations until subscription ends
  • After subscription ends: Your account becomes read-only for 30 days (you can view but not create new optimizations)
  • After 90 days: Your account and data may be deleted unless you re-subscribe
  • Export your data: You can export all your custom templates and optimization history anytime before deletion

Refund Exclusions

The following items are not eligible for refunds:

  • Free tier: No refunds apply (already free)
  • After 7 days: Refunds are only available within the first 7 days of subscription
  • Add-on purchases: Optimization overage charges are non-refundable once used
  • Violations: Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations are not eligible for refunds
  • Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback voids eligibility for future refunds

Important: All refunds are processed to the original payment method used for the subscription purchase. We cannot process refunds to alternative payment methods.

Processing Timeline

We aim to process all refund and cancellation requests quickly:

  • Cancellations: Effective immediately, access continues until period ends
  • Refund approval: Within 1-2 business days of request
  • Refund processing: 5-7 business days to original payment method
  • Bank processing: May take additional 3-5 business days depending on your bank

Educational & Non-Profit Discounts

Special pricing for educational institutions and non-profits follows the same refund policy:

  • 7-day money-back guarantee applies
  • Refunds calculated based on discounted price paid
  • Same cancellation terms as standard monthly subscriptions
  • Refunds processed to original payment method
